Report Mission trip Trinidad April 2016, by Leeana

I greet you all in the wonderful name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

It is quite an honour to be a part of the Ministry of Voice to the Nations. As bond servants, it is with a great privilege to have assisted with the scheduling of the Word to go out to the churches in Trinidad so the Word can be taught and preached to the people. I Cor. 3:9 (KJV) “For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.”

This trip took place from 4th to the 26th April 2016 which was truly an amazing and fruitful trip that God moved so mightily. The Word … The Word… Most importantly went out with power and might, in love, to correct and reprove and discipline us.

2 Tim. 3:16, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” The Word that came from The Lord to the people of Trinidad was for our Christian walk to be built up, making strong the church, the body of Christ, to minister to the lost. To walk in true holiness and righteousness, being sanctified, to do according to the Word that is instructed in Mark 16: 15-18, “And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

Spiritual food was laid up like mountains for us to devour, we were filled with scriptures, to do our homework and to stay in the ways of the Lord. Not to just learn for selfish gain but to learn and to go out and win souls for Christ. This is the great commission. We learned that we must yearn for the Word as we go hungry for food and desire to be filled by the Spirit. John 20:22-23 (KJV) “And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: Whosesoever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whosesoever sins ye retain, they are retained.” This portion of scripture showed us as Christians that we have even the power to forgive and remit sins when we have the Holy Spirit, when we walk in total Obedience to the Word of God, living an overcoming life. We can never please God in the flesh. Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord.

As taught to us, Jesus being the chief cornerstone Acts 4:11-12 (KJV) “This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” According to the Word also preached 1 Cor. 9:27 (KJV) “But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.”

The Word is important in our lives as the apostle always stressed, even to those that were healed. To keep your healing, you must also remember to always dwell richly in the Word. Psalm 17:15 (KJV) “As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.”

Apostle Vernon Davis is so rich in the Word because we bear witness how he devours it and is disciplined in his daily engagements. The Holy Spirit brought to him during the delivery of the most Holy Word, Titus 2:11-12 (KJV) “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.” We must put away our fleshly desires, for the carnal mind is enmity with God. We must surrender as bond servants, as leaders and pastors and people of God to live by his Word.

Our God is able to heal, to save, to satisfy, always abundantly able. And as the Word says, after the Word has been preached, signs and wonders shall follow you. You will lay hands and they shall be healed, you will cast out devils in my name. We bless the Lord for the many lives that were touched. People sought the Lord deeper and reconnected their relationship with Him. So many were healed from their distress, from nightmares and tormented in sleep. The Lord delivered even those who wanted to turn away from a life of drugs. A woman who was suppressed with a depressing spirit, and as medical professionals termed “bipolar”, both a mother and daughter completely healed. We bear witness during these services also of a woman who was diagnosed with flat feet ( the muscle that is under the feet to keep the foot arched was absent) and this caused her to wear a huge heavy type of medical wear that was so painful for her. That woman, Our God healed her completely, she was overjoyed and tears of joy fell, all for the glory of God. An old woman whose hand could not be moved was completely healed at a church in St. James. What an awesome meeting we had there, being taught about the Holy Spirit.

Meetings were held in many areas of the central area of Trinidad and St. James. We had to squeeze in a few requests done as the Spirit of God led and the Lord moved mightily there. Leadership seminars were arranged and the Word was so rich and so in season, teaching and admonishing the leaders to lead their flock and with integrity to lead God’s people. An old man was healed from clogged arteries, his entire face countenance was changed and he was thoroughly healed. Many occurrences of God’s healing power were manifested and we thank God for his healing power that touched so many lives and the Word that touched all our lives to walk and be true servants. To serve and not to be served.

Grace and the peace of God be with you all. Glory to God in the highest.
